AC Milan demand ‘huge offer’ for Manchester United target Fikayo Tomori
Serie A giants AC Milan will demand a ‘huge offer’ for Fikayo Tomori amidst interest from Manchester United in the defender, according to the Daily Mail (h/t Manchester Evening News).
In recent months, the England international has been in fine form for the Rosoneri. As a result, he has attracted the attention of the Red Devils, who are keeping tabs on the centre-back.
Currently, his contract at the Italian outfit runs until the summer of 2027. Therefore, it is understandable for Stefano Pioli’s team to hold out for a big fee for the 25-year-old.
In the upcoming transfer window, the Manchester-based club are expected to bolster their backline. However, apart from the Old Trafford side, Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur also have Tomori on their radar.
The centre-back made his way through the youth ranks at Chelsea. During Frank Lampard’s first stint at the Stamford Bridge side, the defender broke into their first team.
But the England international subsequently lost his place in the team. After making a loan move, in the summer of 2021, the 25-year-old joined Milan on a permanent basis and has thrived in Italy.
Erik ten Hag has relied on Lisandro Martinez and Raphael Varane in defence this season. As a result, the likes of Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof have lost their place in the team.
Therefore, it looks likely that our skipper will part ways with the Red Devils next summer. Thus, we will evidently need to bolster our backline in the coming months.

Tomori has grown leaps and bounds at the Italian outfit. He won the Scudetto last term with the Rosoneri. The English national also has previous experience in the English top flight. But it remains to be seen whether the Old Trafford side will meet the Serie A giants’ demands.
