Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot back on Manchester United radar
Manchester United are ‘ready to revive’ their interest in Juventus star Adrien Rabiot, who was a target for the Red Devils last summer, according to Tutto Juve (h/t Manchester Evening News).
The Red Devils were looking to get the France international in the summer of 2022. But in the end, a deal did not end up materialising.
However, now, the 28-year-old’s current contract with the Old Lady is set to expire at the end of the season. As a result, the Old Trafford side could turn their attention to the former Paris Saint-Germain star in their search for a midfielder.
Erik ten Hag is prepared to ‘go on the offensive’ to acquire the services of Rabiot. However, it remains to be seen whether United will be successful this time around.
The French national established himself as a quality player in Ligue 1 with PSG. Then, in the summer of 2019, the midfielder joined the Bianconeri on a free transfer.
Subsequently, he has been a key player for Juventus over the years. However, the 28-year-old has caught a lot of people’s attention with some impressive displays in the current campaign under Massimiliano Allegri.
United ended up signing Casemiro in the summer of 2022. Christina Eriksen came to the club in the same window. The two have formed a decent pairing in the engine room for the Red Devils.
However, the Old Trafford side look a bit light in the middle of the park. Marcel Sabitzer had to be brought on loan from Bayern Munich in January to add much-needed depth in the midfield.

Therefore, in the upcoming transfer window, we could do with more quality in the engine room. It is not often that a player of Rabiot’s quality is available on a free transfer. Therefore, it is not surprising to see the Manchester-based club eyeing him once again.
