Eintracht Frankfurt striker Randal Kolo Muani dreams of “big clubs” amidst Manchester United interest
Randal Kolo Muani, who currently plays for Eintracht Frankfurt, has revealed that he dreams of playing for “big clubs” amidst interest from Manchester United.
The France international has emerged as a target for the Red Devils. He is high up on Erik ten Hag’s wishlist. But the Bundesliga outfit want an offer of around €120 million to part ways with the forward.
Speaking to L’Equipe (h/t Metro) about his future, the 24-year-old admits to having discussions about it. However, right now, he is only thinking about Frankfurt.
“We talk about it a lot already, but I try to be focused on my club. We continue our performances and we will see this summer. Afterwards, I always dreamed of playing in big clubs.”
Kolo Muani signed for Die Adler on a free transfer in the summer of 2022 after leaving Nantes. However, in Germany, the French national has burst onto the scene.
The 24-year-old has been the Bundesliga outfit’s talisman in the current campaign. He has made 35 appearances in all competitions for Oliver Glasner’s team, scoring 16 goals and providing 14 assists.
Kolo Muani also got the opportunity to represent his national side in the 2022 World Cup. The 24-year-old found the back of the net in France’s 2-0 win over Morocco in the semi-final. However, Les Bleus lost to Argentina in the final.
This season, Erik ten Hag has had to rely on Marcus Rashford to find the back of the net consistently. The England international is the Red Devils’ leading goalscorer under the Dutch manager.
Apart from the 25-year-old, none of our attackers has contributed much in the final third. The likes of Jadon Sancho, Antoy, Anthony Martial, Alejandro Garnacho and Wout Weghorst have all been given opportunities by the gaffer.
