Anthony Martial and Antony injury doubts for Manchester United vs Fulham
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has revealed that Anthony Martial and Antony are injury doubts for the game against Fulham in the FA Cup.
The Old Trafford side will welcome the Cottagers on Sunday (19 March) in the quarter-finals of the domestic cup competition. However, the Red Devils will be without two forwards in the French and Brazilian nationals.
Speaking to the media via Manchester Evening News, Ten Hag believes the former AS Monaco star will be out for the match versus the Craven Cottage side. The gaffer is also unsure about Antony’s involvement.

“So we have to talk about [it] and I think Anthony Martial will not be available and Antony dos Santos, we have to see how he will progress.”
The Brazil international signed for United in the summer of 2022 from Ajax. As a result, he reunited with the Dutch manager in Manchester and has been the head coach’s preferred choice on the right wing.
After a fast start to life at the Old Trafford side, the forward has petered off a bit. While Ten Hag has counted on the 23-year-old on the right wing, injuries have not helped his cause.
As for Martial, he had an encouraging pre-season under the Dutch manager. However, fitness issues have not let the striker find consistency at United in the current campaign.

The 27-year-old has been in and out of the team since the Ajax Head coach’s arrival. As soon as the French national makes a return, he is once again forced on the sidelines.
In January, the Red Devils acquired the services of Wout Weghorst on loan from Burnley. Ten Hag has opted to play the Holland international regularly due to a lack of number nines in the squad. While the 30-year-old has been decent, he leaves a lot to be desired in front of goal.
