Manchester United are ‘preparing’ a £106 million transfer offer for Eintracht Frankfurt striker Randal Kolo Muani, according to German outlet Bild (h/t Express).
The Red Devils admire the France international. As a result, the Old Trafford side are ready to put in a massive bid to acquire the 24-year-old’s services.
At the moment, the striker is tied down to the Bundesliga outfit until the summer of 2027. But a massive offer could tempt them to cash in on him.
Kolo Muani signed for Die Adler last summer on a free transfer after he left Ligue 1 outfit Nantes. Over the course of the campaign, the French national has gone from strength to strength and has caught a lot of people’s attention.
Oliver Glasner has his team in a good position in the league at the moment, fighting for a European place. The 24-year-old has been pivotal to the Deutsche Bank Park side’s success. The striker has been in fine form this season. He has made 34 appearances in all competitions for Frankfurt, scoring 16 goals and providing 14 assists.
Kolo Muani also shone for France in the 2022 World Cup. The 24-year-old has the chance to pull off an emphatic win for Les Bleus in the final versus Argentina in the final seconds of the match. However, Emiliano Martinez pulled off a brilliant save.
United evidently do not have a lot of options in the number nine position. Anthony Martial and Wout Weghorst are the only natural strikers at Erik ten hag’s disposal.
As a result, the Dutch manager has had to rely on Marcus Rashford on a number of occasions to play up top and regularly contribute in the final third.
