Borussia Dortmund will demand more €144 million for Jude Bellingham amidst Manchester United interest
Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund will demand more than €144 million for Jude Bellingham amidst interest from Manchester United, according to 90min (h/t Manchester Evening News).
The German outfit will demand a ‘club record sale’ to part ways with the 19-year-old. At the moment, Ousmane Dembele’s move to Barcelona from BVB is the highest transfer sum they have received.
In regards to the England international, the Signal Iduna Park are adamant about their valuation. He has been linked with several big clubs ahead of next summer. The midfielder is expected to leave in the coming months.
Bellingham signed for Dortmund in the summer of 2020 from Birmingham City. Since then, he has been a key player for the Bundesliga giants.
The 19-year-old quickly established himself in BVB’s starting lineup at the start and has not looked back. The midfielder has developed and grown from strength to strength over the years.
In the current campaign, the England international has showcased his talent on a consistent basis against top sides in Germany and in the Champions League. Edin Terzic has also handed the youngster the captain’s armband on a number of occasions.
Bellingham also shone for the Three Lions in Qatar. The 19-year-old started in every game for Gareth Southgate’s team in the 2022 World Cup. However, they were unable to get past France in the quarter-finals.
United bolstered their midfield ranks last summer with the addition of Casemiro and Christian Eriksen. While the two have been impressive, in their absence, the Red Devils have seemed to struggle.
