Barcelona forward Ansu Fati offered to ‘half of Europe’ amidst Manchester United interest
Ansu Fati, who plays for Spanish giants Barcelona, has been offered to ‘half of Europe’ amidst interest from Manchester United, according to Catalan journalist Joan Fontes on Medium (h/t The Sun).
The 21-year-old’s agent, Jorge Mendes, has proposed his client’s services to multiple clubs. At the moment, the forward is not the first choice at the Camp Nou side and wants a more significant role in the team.
However, Xavi does not have faith in the Spain international. As a result, the youngster is in the shop window. His current contract with the Blaugrana expires in the summer of 2027.
Barcelona president Joan Laporta is keen on signing an attacker in the upcoming transfer window. But the La Liga outfit will have to sell someone first. Robert Lewandowski, Ousmane Dembele, Ferran Torres, Raphinha and Fati are currently in the Camp Nou side’s ranks.
Apart from the Red Devils, Premier League rivals Arsenal and Liverpool are also eyeing the 20-year-old’s signature. The youngster’s existing deal has a €1 billion release clause.
The Spain international made his way through Bracelona’s famous La Masia. In the 2019/20 season, the forward burst onto the scene.
Unfortunately, injuries have hampered Fati’s development over the years. In the current campaign, the 20-year-old has made 36 appearances in all competitions, scoring six goals and providing three assists. But the youngster has not started many fixtures.
United’s forward line evidently lacks quality and depth in the number nine position. Anthony Martial and Wout Weghorst are currently the only natural strikers at Erik ten Hag’s disposal.

Therefore, it would be the Old Trafford side to add a prolific goal-scorer to their ranks. For now, Fati is seemingly not needed considering Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho are occupying the left wing.
