Kleberson urges Manchester United to sign Tottenham Hotspur forward Richarlison
Former Manchester United ace Kleberson has urged the Red Devils to sign his Brazilian compatriot and Tottenham Hotspur star Richarlison.
Spurs signed the 25-year-old in the summer of 2022 from Everton. The forward has looked lively and energetic for the North London side this season.
Speaking to OLBG (h/t Manchester Evening News), Kleberson, who spent two years at the Old Trafford side, would love to see Richarlison in a red shirt. The ex-midfielder believes the 25-year-old could help the Manchester-based club in the attack.

“I’d really like to see Richarlison play for Man United. He’s the kind of striker that could help United a lot. Especially with teams pressing, he can do a low block, he can put pressure on the centre-back and he can get inside the box.”
The Brazil international made his way to the Premier League from Fluminense. In the summer of 2017, Watford brought the forward to the English top flight. After impressing at the Hornets, Everton came knocking for him.
Richarlison went on to spend four years in Merseyside. He was a key player for them season after season. In the previous campaign, the striker was pivotal for the Toffees as they survived relegation.
However, at Tottenham, the 25-year-old has had to be patient for his opportunities. The North London side have a stacked front line with the likes of Harry Kane, Son Heung-min and Dejan Kulusevski in their ranks.
As a result, the Brazilian has mostly been deployed off the bench by Antonio Conte. This season, he has made 23 appearances in all competitions for Spurs, scoring two goals and providing three assists.
For now, United have Anthony Martial and Wout Weghorst as the only natural strikers in the squad. Erik ten Hag has not been able to consistently rely on the French national a the Old Trafford side due to his fitness issues.

Richarlison is a tenacious and aggressive character. However, his goal-scoring exploits leave a lot to be desired. Therefore, while the Brazilian is a robust forward, it would be wise of the Red Devils to steer clear of him.
