Manchester United set £120 million price tag on Marcus Rashford with new contract “priority”
Manchester United have set a £120 million price tag on Marcus Rashford for the upcoming transfer window, according to The Daily Star (h/t Manchester Evening News).
The 25-year-old’s current contract with the Red Devils expires in the summer of 2024. However, the Old Trafford side will look for a massive fee if they are forced to part ways with him in the coming months.
Earlier in the season, the Manchester-based club triggered a one-year extension in the England international’s deal to stop him from becoming a free agent at the end of the campaign.
But if he does not put pen to paper, a number of sides around the world will have an eye on the forward’s signature. Paris Saint-Germain, Barcelona and Real Madrid have been tipped to show interest in the United academy graduate.
Before the 2022 World Cup, the Red Devils had only valued Rashford at around £80 million. However, considering the form he has been in the recent weeks, the Old Trafford side have upped their asking price.
Although, speaking to the media via transfer guru Fabrizio Romano on Twitter, Erik ten Hag revealed that extending the 25-year-old’s stay in Manchester was a priority for the club.

The gaffer is adamant about keeping hold of the England international. And rightfully so, because the forward has been the Old Trafford side’s talisman under the Dutch manager.
Rashford has found his feet since Ten Hag’s arrival, having struggled in the previous campaign. The 25-year-old has taken the mantle from Cristiano Ronaldo, who left midway through the season.
