Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham ‘rules out’ Chelsea and PSG amidst Manchester United interest
Jude Bellingham has ‘ruled out’ a move to Chelsea of Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) from Borussia Dortmund amidst interest from Manchester United, according to the Express (h/t Manchester Evening News).
The 19-year-old is looking to leave the Bundesliga giants next summer. However, the midfielder has rejected the idea of moving to Graham Potter’s team or the Parisians.
At the moment, the Red Devils are amongst the list of teams the England international is eyeing signing for. Other clubs include Premier League rivals Liverpool and Manchester City and Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona.
Bellingham made his way to BVB in the summer of 2020 from Birmingham City. The 19-year-old immediately carved his place in the Signal Iduna Park side’s starting lineup.
Subsequently, the midfielder has gone from strength to strength during his time in Germany. The England international has taken his game to a whole new level this season.
Bellingham has been handed the captain’s armband on a few occasions by Edin Terzic. The 19-year-old was also a pivotal player for the Three Lions in the 2022 World Cup.
Chelsea recently splashed the cash on Enzo Fernandez. On the other hand, PSG signed several players to bolster their engine room in the summer of 2022, like Renato Sanches, Fabian Ruiz and Carlos Soler.
As for United, Christian Eriksen was signed on a free transfer last summer, while Casemiro was bought from Real Madrid. The two have made an immediate impact in Manchester.

However, we could evidently do with more quality in the middle of the park. And Bellingham is a generational talent any top side would be lucky to have. But it remains to be seen whether the Red Devils will be the club of the 19-year-old’s choosing.
