Antony joins Anthony Martial and Scott McTominay on sidelines for Manchester United vs Leeds United
Manchester United star Antony, along with Anthony Martial and Scott McTominay, will be unavailable for the game against Leeds United on Wednesday (8 February).
The Peacocks will visit Old Trafford in the Premier League for an enticing clash. Jesse Marsch was recently sacked by the West Yorkshire-based club. Former assistant of the Red Devils under Ralf Rangnick, Chris Armas, will be in the Elland Road side’s dugout.
Speaking ahead of the fixture via Manchester Evening News, Ten Hag revealed the Brazilian forward’s absence from the team. The gaffer is now looking for solutions for the match.

“They [Martial and McTominay] are not involved tomorrow. And the same with Antony, also not available tomorrow, so we have to sort it out.”
Martial and McTominay also missed Man United’s precious win over Crystal Palace. The France international has had trouble with injuries this season.
As for the Scotland international, his absence has been a blow. Along with the 26-year-old, we will also be without Casemiro, who was suspended after his red card against the Eagles.
Christian Eriksen has also been ruled out for a considerable period of the campaign. On the other hand, Sonny van de Beek has been ruled out for the rest of the season with an injury.

Therefore, the Red Devils are going through a crisis in the middle of the park. Hopefully, Marcel Sabitzer and Fred will be able to keep our engine room ticking. Lisandro Martinez and Victor Lindelof have also been tried by the gaffer in the midfield.
As for Antony, he has had a mixed campaign in Manchester so far. After making an instant splash at the Old Trafford side since joining from Ajax, the 22-year-old has been inconsistent.
