Dusan Vlahovic will not be signed by Manchester United from Juventus in January transfer window
Manchester United will not sign Dusan Vlahovic from Juventus in the ongoing transfer window, with the striker not ‘feasible’ at the moment, according to the Express.
The Red Devils are looking to get another striker in before this month’s deadline day. While the 22-year-old is admired by the Old Trafford side and the Serbian is also keen on a move, a January move has been ruled out.
For now, United do not have the finances to spend big. There is also uncertainty around the owners of the club, with the Glazers open to selling the Old Trafford side.
Vlahovic signed for the Bianconeri in the winter window of 2022. Since then, the Serbian has had an inconsistent spell with the Old Lady.
In the current campaign, Massimiliano Allegri struggled initially. However, the Serie A giants were slowly climbing up their way in the league table. But the Italians recently received a setback after being docked 15 points.
This season, the 22-year-old has been in decent form. In 15 appearances in all competitions for Juventus, the striker has scored seven goals and has provided two assists.
United have already signed a number nine in the ongoing transfer window. Wout Weghorst was brought on loan for the rest of the campaign from Burnley to bolster the front line after Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure.
The Holland international scored his first goal for the Red Devils in our previous fixture against Nottingham Forest. Anthony Martial’s injury issues have forced the gaffer into putting the former Wolfsburg striker straight into the team.

Erik ten Hag only has the two number nines at his disposal at the moment. Therefore, we will evidently once again need to add a centre-forward next summer. However, whether Vlahovic will be the chosen one remains to be seen.
