Manchester United to make decision on summer 2023 transfer targets at ‘end of this month’
Manchester United will make a decision on whom they want to target in the upcoming transfer window by the ‘end of this month’, according to The Times (Subscription Required) [h/t Manchester Evening News].
A marquee striker is likely to be pursued next summer by the Red Devils. Napoli’s Victor Osimhen and Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane are being linked with the Old Trafford side.
United’s forward line lost Cristiano Ronaldo midway through the season. The 37-year-old’s departure left the Red Devils with a void up front, which has been filled by Wout Weghorst on a temporary basis.

The Holland international signed for the Red Devils this month from Burnley on loan until the end of the campaign. Therefore, we seemingly require a long-term option in the number nine position.
Anthony Martial has been Erik ten Hag’s first choice as the striker this season. Unfortunately, the France international has struggled to stay fit this season. As a result, the gaffer has been unable to call upon him consistently.
Marcus Rashford has been the one to play down the middle in the absence of the former AS Monaco star. The 25-year-old has been one of our best players in the current campaign. He has found the back of the net 17 times in 28 appearances in all competitions this term.

United’s transfer business in the previous transfer window was relatively fruitful. The two defensive signings, Lisandro Martinez and Tyrell Malacia, have made an early impact. The Argentine has become a key player for Ten Hag.
In the middle of the park, Casemiro and Christian Eriksen have cemented their place in the gaffer’s plans. Antony has also been trusted by the Dutch manager.

Ten Hag has steadied the ship at the Old Trafford side after an abysmal start. His signings have also worked out until now. The gaffer has put us in a good position in every competition. Hopefully, the Dutch manager will be rewarded in the summer for the progress he has made with the Red Devils.
