Celtic ‘waiting’ to see if Manchester United act on ‘interest’ in Josip Juranovic in January
Scottish giants Celtic are ‘waiting’ to see if Manchester United will act on their ‘interest’ in Josip Juranovic in the ongoing transfer window, according to the Daily Record (h/t Manchester Evening News).
The Red Devils are one of the several clubs eyeing the 27-year-old’s signature. He is being linked with a move to the Premier League. The Croatia international is on the Old Trafford side’s ‘list of targets’ in January.
Juranovic joined the Glasgow-based club in the summer of 2021 from Legia Warszawa in Poland. The Croatian has been impressive during his short spell in Scotland.

The 27-year-old also shone for his national side in Qatar. At the 2022 World Cup, the right-back played a pivotal role for Zlatko Dalic’s team. They finished third at the prestigious tournament after being knocked out by Argentina in the semi-finals.
Celtic are currently at the top of the table in the Scottish Premiership. In the current campaign, the defender has made 16 appearances in all competitions for the Glasgow-based club, scoring one goal and providing one assist.
Currently, at United, Diogo Dalot is the first-choice right back. The Portugal international has started in a majority of the fixtures in the current campaign. The 23-year-old has established himself in Erik ten Hag’s plans.

However, Aaron Wan-Bissaka has seen his game time dwindle as a result of the former FC Porto star’s ascension. The 25-year-old hardly got any minutes this season prior to the 2022 World Cup.
But the former Crystal Palace star has been handed opportunities in recent weeks. He has done well deputising for Dalot in the team.
