Wolves prepared to offer Manchester United star Aaron Wan-Bissaka more first-team action on loan
Wolverhampton Wanderers (Wolves) are looking to entice Manchester United star Aaron Wan-Bissaka to come on loan for the rest of the season by offering him regular minutes, according to Footmercato (h/t Manchester Evening News).
The Midlands club are ‘interested’ in a temporary move for the 25-year-old in the ongoing transfer window for the rest of the season. In order to get his signature, Julen Lopetegui’s team are willing to give the England U1 international more first-team action.
When Wan-Bissaka initially signed for the Red Devils in the summer of 2019 from Crystal Palace, he was Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s preferred choice. However, after the Norwegian manager’s departure, the 25-year-old saw his game time dwindle.
Ralf Rangnick’s appointment saw Diogo Dalot get more opportunities. As a result, the Portuguese pipped the England U21 international in the pecking order.
In the current campaign, the former FC Porto star has cemented his place in the team. Erik ten Hag has stuck with the 23-year-old in his starting lineup for the majority of the fixtures.
As a result, Wan-Bissaka seems to have fallen out of favour. Before the 2022 World Cup, the 25-year-old was handed just four minutes of competitive action by the Dutch manager.
But the gaffer has had to give the England U21 international starts in recent fixtures. Thankfully, he has performed well.
It has been an encouraging sign to see Wan-Bissaka thrive. The England U21 international is the only natural option to back up Dalot in the team.

Thus, it would not be wise to part ways with the former Palace star just yet. During the Portuguese star’s time on the sidelines, the 25-year-old stepped up to the plate and helped United win matches. With the congested fixture in the current campaign, it is evidently important to have depth in every area of the pitch.
