Jadon Sancho will miss the Manchester United training camp planned before the season resumption
According to the Mirror, Manchester United forward Jadon Sancho will miss the winter training camp planned for the squad ahead of the season’s resumption with the player continuing his individual training programmes with the coaches recommended by Erik ten Hag.
The club’s official website said in a statement:
“Jadon Sancho is continuing his individual training programme as part of a process to get back to his highest level. The club is fully supporting him in this.”
Manchester United ended the first half of the season positioned fifth in the league and Ten Hag would be looking for a firing start once the season resumes with a push towards final-four qualification.
Hence it would be a massive benefit if the first team stars who have not travelled for the FIFA World Cup were at peak condition to start the games.

Jadon Sancho is one such name, after failing to make it to the final England World Cup squad for the World Cup and as such, he has been undergoing individual programmes under coaches recommended by Ten Hag in the Netherlands.
Sancho’s move to United from Borussia Dortmund was a long battle that lasted almost two seasons with the player ultimately moving to Old Trafford in a deal worth £72m.
However, the 22-year-old winger has truly been able to convince everyone of the hefty price tag and has failed to replicate the form shown by the player in Germany.
There are no doubts about the ability that the player possesses and one has to keep in mind the manner in which last season unfolded for the club, it was a tough ride for everyone involved.

He has shown signs of improvement under the new manager and was involved in two important goals against Liverpool and Leicester City early on in the season.
With a depth of talent available for Ten Hag to choose from for the wing positions after the signing of Antony and the emergence of Alexandro Garnacho, Sancho would need to step up for him to regain his place in the starting eleven.

Many of the first-teamers would be returning from the World Cup and it would provide Sancho with the perfect opportunity to start the second half of the season strongly and become an integral member of the team in the fight for the top four.
