Atletico Madrid yet to receive offer for Portugal star Joao Felix amidst Manchester United links
La Liga outfit Atletico Madrid are yet to receive an offer for Portugal star Joao Felix, who has been linked to Manchester United, according to Spanish outlet AS (h/t Manchester Evening News).
The Red Devils are a possible option for the 23-year-old as he finds life difficult under Diego Simeone. However, the forward is valued at around £87.5 million, which could prove to be a stumbling block for the Old Trafford side.
Felix signed for Atletico in the summer of 2019. He was one of the brightest prospects in world football during his time with the Primeira Liga outfit.

On the 23-year-old’s arrival in the Spanish capital, many fans had high expectations from him. However, he has been unable to make a big enough impact during his time under the Argentine head coach in Madrid.
The Portugal international has fallen down the pecking order in the current campaign. He has been on the bench predominantly in the last few fixtures for Los Rojiblancos.
With his dwindling minutes, the youngster has scored four goals and provided three assists in 18 appearances in all competitions. But Atletico as a whole have been underwhelming this season.
Felix was selected by Fernando Santos in Portugal’s 26-man squad for the World Cup. Os Navegadores will face Ghana on Thursday (24 November) in their first Group H encounter in Qatar.
United have parted ways by mutual agreement with Felix’s national teammate Cristiano Ronaldo. And we evidently need to add reinforcements to the forward line in January.

The 23-year-old has not been able to fulfil his potential at Atletico as of yet. However, the youngster is still a talented player and has age on his side. But it remains to be seen whether the Old Trafford side will put in a bid for him in the coming months.
