The 19-year-old came up through the youth ranks at Birmingham City. And at an early age, he caught the eye of a number of people. In the end, in the summer of 2020, the England international signed for Borussia Dortmund.

Bellingham has thrived since going to Germany. The youngster immediately carved out a place for himself in the Bundesliga giants’ starting lineup. And he has gone from strength to strength in recent years.

The 19-year-old looks to have come into his own this season. Under Edin Terzic in the current campaign, the midfielder has featured in every game in all competitions for BVB.

In the Champions League group stage, the England international has been inspiring. He has played every minute for Dortmund in the prestigious European competition, scoring four goals and providing one assist in five appearances.

At United, Erik ten Hag was afforded the signing of Christian Eriksen and Casemiro in the recent transfer window to bolster the middle of the park. And the Danish and Brazilian duo have made an immediate impact on the side.
