Leeds United and USMNT midfielder Tyler Adams being monitored by Manchester United
Manchester United are keeping a close eye on Leeds United and USMNT midfielder Tyler Adams, according to Football Insider (h/t Manchester Evening News).
The Old Trafford side were interested in the American before his move to West Yorkshire. However, the Red Devils have shortlisted the 23-year-old for a future potential transfer.
Adams joined the Peacocks in the recent transfer window from RB Leipzig. And the midfielder has been an essential player for Jesse Marsch, starting 10 Premier League games for the Whites.

The 23-year-old came up through the ranks with MLS side New York Red Bulls. Subsequently, the American made his way to Germany and impressed in the Bundesliga.
Adams is a versatile player who has mostly played in the number six role throughout his career. The defensive midfielder provides legs and energy in the middle of the park, covering spaces.
Man United were previously interested in another Leeds midfielder who now plies his trade at Manchester City. The Red Devils wanted to sign Kalvin Phillips in the summer of 2022, whose profile is similar to the American’s.
The Old Trafford side ended up buying Casemiro from Real Madrid. Fans who have seen the Brazilian play know that he is more defensively sound. And the 30-year-old has showcased what he brings to the table in recent weeks.
Casemiro initially had a tough time getting into the starting lineup, with Scott McTominay performing well. However, since the Brazilian’s first start in the league against Everton at Goodison Park, supporters have sensed his qualities.
