Louis Saha urges Manchester United to sign Tottenham Hotspur superstar Harry Kane

Manchester United have been urged by Louis Saha to bring Tottenham Hotspur forward Harry Kane to the Old Trafford side. The ex-Red Devil believes the England international would thrive with the Red Devils.

Kane has been one of the best forwards in the world for a while now. The striker has consistently delivered for the North London side. The 29-year-old is also the captain of the Three Lions.

Speaking to Compare.bet (h/t Metro), Saha, who played as a striker for United for four years during his playing career, is of the opinion Kane is capable of making an impact in any team. He feels the Red Devils need someone like the Spurs star up top.

“Of course Kane would be a great signing for United.

“He could go anywhere in the world and he would shine.

“I would be very happy with him at United, because United need the kind of composure Kane has up front.”

Kane broke into the Tottenham first-team in the 2014/15 season and has not looked back since. Over the years, the 29-year-old has amassed three Premier League Golden boots.

Under former United manager Jose Mourinho, who was also head coach at Spurs for a while, Kane evidently took his game to the next level. The England international strengthened his playmaking abilities.

And Kane has now rounded his game overall. The centre-forward has started the current season on the front foot as well. The 29-year-old has nine goals and two assists to his name in 13 appearances in all competitions.

Erik ten Hag this season has preferred playing with either Marcus Rashford or Anthony Martial in the number nine position. And the two have been decent for United.

On the other hand, Cristiano Ronaldo has found himself mostly on the bench under the Dutch manager. The 37-year-old does not have his shooting boots on in the current campaign either, with only one goal in the league so far.

Kane is someone who has built a pedigree of being a prolific goalscorer for Spurs. However, it will evidently be challenging to prise the 29-year-old away from Tottenham chief Daniel Levy.
