Chelsea enters the race for Manchester United target Jude Bellingham
In what has emerged as a huge transfer blow for Manchester United in their pursuit of talented Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham, Premier League rivals Chelsea are also set to enter the race for the talented English wonderkid, according to the Times.
Man United were anyways not alone in their pursuit of the 19-year-old midfielder with Liverpool also very keen on signing the prodigious English talent. With the Blues also entering the mix now, life is going to get difficult for the Red Devils.
It has emerged that new Chelsea owner Todd Boehly has made Jude Bellingham his absolute priority next summer and wants his new sporting director to make sure that the Blues leapfrog the other competitors for the teenager.
Bellingham’s stocks have been increasing meteorically day by day. Every performance that he puts in only makes the entire footballing world realise how special he actually is and Dortmund will definitely not sell him for cheap.
The teenage wonderkid has played 10 times for the German giants across all competitions this season scoring three goals during this time. The perfect box-to-box midfielder, players do not get much better than Bellingham.
Arguably the best young midfielder in the game right now along with Pedri of Barcelona, Bellingham is simply sensational. The things that the Englishman does at 19 cannot be put into words and he is truly a special player.
Already a starter for the national team at such a young age, there is every chance that Bellingham is a starter for the Three Lions in the showpiece event at Qatar and he would arguably be a very key player for Gareth Southgate.
Bellingham is destined for success. It is scary to think of the things that he can go on to achieve by the time he is done with his career and all he needs is the right attitude and correct decision-making to make sure his career is a success.
Man United will have to be very very careful in their pursuit of Bellingham. They blink for one moment and there is a high chance that some other club will steal the 19-year-old from right under their noses.
