Manchester United are monitoring Celtic FC and Croatian full-back Josip Juranovic
Celtic FC and Croatian full-back Josip Juranovic is being monitored by Manchester United this summer. The 26-year-old has attracted the interest of the Red Devils.
According to 90min (h/t Metro), United and Chelsea are considering a move for Juranovic. The Croatian is also being looked at by other European giants like Atletico Madrid.
The Manchester-based club currently have Diogo Dalot and Aaron Wan-Bissaka covering the right back-spot. Both have been vying for a spot in the XI, but the Portuguese seems to have the upper hand. On the other hand, the Former Crystal Palace star’s future is uncertain at Old Trafford.

Wan-Bissaka joined United in 2019. A lot of people were excited about the move. The transfer was received with a lot of fanfare at the time. But the 24-year-old hasn’t lived up to fans’ expectations.
The London-born full-back was known for his defensive astuteness at Selhurst Park. But his ability in the final third of the pitch isn’t Wan-Bissaka’s best asset. And supporters feel the 34-year-old hasn’t progressed in his time at Manchester.
Dalot took over Wan-Bissaka’s place in the starting lineup under Ralf Rangnick. While the Portuguese wasn’t fancied by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, he found a place in the German manager’s side.
Erik ten Hag has gone the same route for now. Dalot started the first game of the new Premier League season against Brighton & Hove Albion. However, United got off to a nightmare start.
The Red Devils lost 2-1 at Old Trafford against the Seagulls. The defence was once again the problem for United. Supporters weren’t impressed by Dalot’s outing either.
