Joelinton invites PSG star Neymar to join Newcastle amid Manchester United transfer links
Joelinton has invited PSG star Neymar to join him at Newcastle amid links to Manchester United for a potential transfer move. The former has even suggested that Bruno Guimaraes could perhaps convince the talisman to make a switch to England and team up with them.
Neymar has been recently linked with a move to Newcastle United, the Red Devils and Chelsea, according to RMC Sport via Metro. That is because he has supposedly been made available in the market after Paris Saint-Germain kept hold of Kylian Mbappe.
Speaking on the Cast FC Podcast (h/t Metro), Joelinton has even offered the number ten shirt, which is currently occupied by Allan Saint-Maximin, to Neymar. The former believes that the Toons would greatly benefit from the former Barcelona star’s arrival if a move can be finalised.
“We can get him a spot. Ney, if you are listening to this, you can come! His quality…the visibility, so if we have the chance, I hope. The number 10 shirt is there waiting for him. I’ll send a message to Bruno. Bruno has his contact…he can send a message inviting Ney to play there.”
Man Utd should stay away!
Signing a superstar like Neymar should not be something that we should waste our time on when we have more pressing needs to address right now. After all, targeting the Brazilian would be a luxury rather than a necessity, which we cannot afford in our current situation.
Furthermore, the 30-year-old’s addition should only be made if we can build the team around him, which is not possible right now. We already have one superstar in hand, with Cristiano Ronaldo being the one to lead our frontline as of now.
Most football fans would have realised by now how the French giants failed to hit the heights they were expected to because of the lack of balance in the attack. Having three luxury superstars in Neymar Junior, Mbappe, and Lionel Messi in the squad has its negatives, which hampered them last time around.

We must not repeat the same mistake and stay away from Neymar at this moment. That being said, we would hope that the Blues and the Magpies would not be able to get hold of the South American this summer.
After all, we would not want to see our Premier League rivals get strengthened by Neymar’s signing if that takes place. Fortunately for us, that may not be on the cards as the attacker is highly likely to stay in the French capital ahead of a World Cup year.
