Transfer News: Juventus are interested in Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho

According to the Italian outlet Tuttosport via Sport Witness, as relayed by UtdPlug on Twitter (h/t Manchester Evening News), Juventus are interested in signing Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho on a potential transfer move in the future. He is one of the highly-rated youth academy prospects in the current set-up who are close to making the jump to the first team.

Garnacho will see his current contract with Man United expire at the end of the upcoming season. Juve have become alerted to this situation and are looking to prise him away on a free transfer after his deal runs out in the future. The English club must respond to this update at the earliest to prevent losing one of their top talents moving forward.

Fortunately, it looks like the Red Devils have plans for the U20 Argentine international after all. It is expected that they will propose a new contract to the attacker and secure his long term future at Old Trafford. Then again, the club must remain wary until he accepts the offer, as the Bianconeri successfully raided Paul Pogba from us in the past when he was a young prospect.

Man Utd must renew Garnacho!

Keeping hold of the talented individuals in the academy would be in our best interests as they would provide the foundation for our long term success. We have often pursued superstars in the past, which has left us in this declined state.

Individuals like Garnacho who rise through the youth ranks would have a point to prove and would bring in the much-needed drive to uplift us from this situation. Furthermore, they would have the necessary tools to become superstars in the future if we can provide them with the right environment for development.

Hence, the Manchester side must do their best to ward off this interest from Massimiliano Allegri’s team for the 17-year-old. The former should look to ramp up the efforts and complete the contract extensions at the earliest so that we would not be forced into a losing situation.

The Man United starlet has showcased his talents once again recently in the Toulon tournament for the U20 Argentina youth team. He scored three goals in the competition, with one being a sumptuous free-kick against France for Javier Mascherano’s side.

The Red Devils teenager was arguably the best player for his youth national team in the tournament giving us further reasons to extend his current deal at the earliest. Let’s hope that the board will end this uncertainty at the earliest by renewing his contract and securing his long term future.
