Several fans react as Manchester United score a convincing 2-0 win over Brighton
It was not pretty but Manchester United returned to winning ways with a 2-0 win over Brighton and Hove Albion at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils were far from their best but goals from Cristiano Ronaldo and Bruno Fernandes gave Ralf Rangnick’s side a much needed three points in the race for top four.
The first half was a rather even affair with neither side able to break the deadlock. Man United took the lead in the 51st minute after Ronaldo scored his first goal of the year. Ralf Rangnick’s side received a further boost when Seagulls ace Lewis Dunk received his marching orders in the 54th minute.
Man United had several chances to see the game out but had to wait until the seventh minute of injury time for Fernandes to slot the ball home. While the scoreline does reflect a rather comfortable win, it was far from it.
Graham Potter’s side caused us problems and we struggled to break down 10-men with great effect. At the end of the day, it is the three points that matter and we managed to see the game out this time.
The win takes us to the fourth spot, four points off third-placed Chelsea, having played a game more. Hopefully, this is the start of a winning run that will see us end the season strong.
We take a look at how the Man United fans reacted to the win on social media.
Finally we got the win, but we were still struggling even with a ten man Brighton. Sancho would have stayed on and Rashford came in and almost ruined everything.

Hands down best game by Ronaldo in a long time. Not just because he scored, but the runs he made, the passing, the defending.

Good win, next game please try to score more than 1 goal earlier to secure the win & stop playing such boring (McFred) midfield too also have to stop protecting the 1-0 lead by sitting back.
