Mino Raiola ruled out any pre-contract agreement for Manchester United target Erling Haaland
According to NOS (h/t Sports mole), Mino Raiola has ruled out any pre-contract agreement for Erling Haaland amid Manchester United interest.
Erling Haaland took the world by storm in the 2019/20 Champions League. After arriving at Dortmund, he has grown to become more accurate when it comes to hitting the target. The former Molde striker has bagged 19 goals and five assists in 16 appearances this season. His consistent performances have attracted a lot of teams lately.
Even though Manchester United has been interested in the 21-year-old, there is heavy competition for his signature. It is believed that Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester City, Chelsea, Bayern Munich, Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain, and Liverpool are all interested.
Nevertheless, Carlo Ancelotti’s team is said to be the front runners in the race. Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke revealed the heavy interest from the Madrid-based team.
However, his agent, Mino Raiola, suggested that he hasn’t reached any pre-contract agreement with any club.
“Haaland can wait for everyone. We don’t have a pre-agreement with any club.”
The Superagent also revealed that a stay at BVB could eventually happen, But he will choose the best deal for his client amid heavy interest from top clubs.
“We will look for the best option, and I also never ruled out another year at Borussia Dortmund.”
Haaland possesses the goalscoring intent that Manchester United need right now. The United hasn’t stepped up their game this season, and 36-year-old Cristiano Ronaldo has been the only Red Devils forward who has been scoring goals consistently.
But, we saw in Juventus that Ronaldo alone couldn’t help the team achieve top titles. He would surely need some help in the front, and Haaland could team up with him. At this moment, there are very few strikers, let alone at such a young range, who can provide the same qualities as the Norwegian.

Thus, the Red Devils board would have a great chance in the league if they bet on the youngster. Even if it means at the cost of some current players, United should propose a cemented place in the team and a significant pay package to lure him from Dortmund.
