Transfer News: Bayern Munich president discusses Kingsley Coman future amid Manchester United interest

According to Sport1 via @iMiaSanMia on Twitter (h/t Bavarianfootballworks), Herbert Hainer pointed out why a stay at Bayern would be advantageous for Kingsley Coman amid Manchester United interest.

Kingsley Coman’s this season’s performance in Bundesliga has been pretty average. However, the French Right Winger successfully bagged four goals in 10 appearances in the German top flight. The 25-year-old also helped Bayern beat Barcelona 3-0 in the Champions League with an assist.

Koeman’s contract will end in the summer. But the French star hasn’t signed a renewal deal yet, which has put some top teams on alert. Manchester United has been interested in the forward. But there is a massive competition for his signature as Paris Saint-Germain, FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur, and Manchester City are all interested in him.

Bayern Munich president suggested that Coleman has a significant opportunity to bag many achievements if he stays at the club.

“Kingsley knows exactly what he has at Bayern and how he has developed here.”

Herbert Hainer also highlighted that the German team’s board wouldn’t go too far regarding the offered wage to keep hold of the critical player.

“It’s legitimate that players want to be paid according to their value. But it’s also legitimate for us as a club to say that we are no longer willing to pay this kind of money. We’ve done that with David Alaba.”

Coman has won silverware wherever he has gone. However, after his move to Die Rotten, he has developed himself into a top forward. Not only goals and assists, but he has been helping to carry the ball from the midfield and dictating the game’s speed. The 25-year-old’s dribbling skills and quick feet have come handy for successfully taking on opponent midfielders.

The French star could indeed become a valuable asset for United’s squad. Ralf Rangnick could even play him in place of Jesse Lingard as the Bayern player has impressive abilities on passing and dribbling through players in that area.

The Red Devils board shouldn’t have financial brackets to attract the versatile player. On top of that, a good offer and a solid sporting project could successfully lure him to Old Trafford.
