Ole Gunnar Solskjaer arrives at Manchester United training ahead of Watford clash
According to Manchester Evening News, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was spotted driving into Carrington on Tuesday morning to resume Manchester United training ahead of their trip to Watford this weekend.
It has been a rather unpleasant two months in the red half of Manchester. The defeat to B.S.C Young Boys in mid-September felt like an anomaly but that has not been the case. Since losing that game, United have only won four matches out of 11 matches across all competitions.
That run saw them eliminated from the EFL Cup and lose in a humiliating manner to arch-rivals Liverpool and Manchester City at home. However, after the defeat to Pep Guardiola and co, Solskjaer handed his squad a week off.
He was in his home country for the week but has now returned to resume training. Despite the uncertainty surrounding his job, the Norwegian is expected to be in charge of the game at Vicarage Road.
However, he was not the only one returning to training. England trio Marcus Rashford, Jesse Lingard, and Jadon Sancho also arrived to get going again. France left out Anthony Martial for this month’s WC qualifiers, courtesy of which, he was also present for training.
Nemanja Matic and Juan Mata were also pictured as they are not a part of their national setups anymore. The quartet of Alex Telles, Aaron wan-Bissaka, Dean Henderson, and Donny van de Beek reported on Monday itself.
