Some Manchester United fans react on Twitter as Manchester United captain Harry Maguire helps England qualify for the 2022 FIFA World Cup
According to the official Twitter account of Manchester United, Harry Maguire helped England qualify for the 2022 World Cup with a ten goal victory against San Marino.
While the result was a foregone conclusion, the Three Lions still put up a real show on the night. After drawing against Hungary last month, they needed to avoid defeats against Albania and San Marino. To their credit, it was managed with minimal fuss.
To Gareth Southgate’s credit, his team have come out with flying colours. And if there is one man to thank for both games, it is Harry Maguire. There was intense criticism of him coming into this international break, but he did not let it bother him one bit.
He scored first against Albania before repeating it against San Marino. Phil Foden whipped in an inviting header, and the 28-year-old centre-back obliged to give England the lead. From there on in, the game was won.
Harry Kane scored four, while Bukayo Saka, Tammy Abraham, Emile Smith Rowe, and Tyrone Mings also got onto the scoresheet. The win meant that the Three Lions picked up 26 points out of a possible 30 –an incredible feat for any national side.

However, this would be a big confidence booster for Maguire. The United ace has been scapegoated for his performances, but he showed up when he had to. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be counting on his main man to maintain similar levels when they face Watford on the weekend.
Let us now see how some fans reacted on Twitter to Maguire helping England seal automatic qualification to the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Do play him at the right side of Defence. No more left side. Pls

Most of our underperforming players turned up well for their respective countries.#Olémustgo
This shows clearly that ole is the problem at United. Players lack motivation, believe tactics, identity and even don't understand football under ole.

And is clear Ole would destroy some of this young and very good talent arrayed at United even if he continues to the of season
Can he do it against Watford?

The chest thumping while playing a team that would struggle to compete in England's lowest league was a bit much. Do it against, Chelsea, Liverpool, City and then you can roar like a lion.

Why do all of his headers go over the bar for us?!?!!???
