Nemanja Matic, Anthony Martial, and Alex Telles are putting in the hard yards to get back into the Manchester United starting lineup
According to Manchester Evening News, Manchester United trio Nemanja Matic, Anthony Martial, and Alex Telles are working hard during the international break to get back into the starting lineup.
The Red Devils have had a poor month of results. Leicester City and Liverpool knocked in nine goals together in October before Man City won at Old Trafford last weekend. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has changed formations, but some key men are still on the bench.
The trio of Alex Telles, Nemanja Matic, and Anthony Martial have suffered for game-time this season. However, instead of sulking, they are putting in extra work during the international break to maintain their fitness levels and come back into the starting lineup.
Martial recently uploaded a picture on social of him on an exercise bike. The Frenchman last played for the club against Everton before limping off the pitch after an hour’s play. He was on the bench in the last two matches but was never brought on to influence the game.
Matic has been in and out of the squad this season. His last start came for the club in their 4-2 defeat against Leicester at the King Power. He took to social media and posted a picture of working out at a training and recovery centre in Belgrade.

Telles featured in the Manchester-derby last weekend and cut a frustrated figure like many of his teammates. However, he is keen on getting back into the first team and posted a picture on Instagram, where he was training at a performance and wellness centre in Porto.
Solskjaer gave a week off to his players and left for Norway, but it is great to see that the fringe players are putting in the hard work instead of making a nuisance of themselves on the bench.
