Bruno Fernandes thinks David De Gea deserves the Manchester United POTM award.
According to Unitedinfocus, Manchester United midfielder, Bruno Fernandes has decided to vote for David de Gea for the Manchester United POTM award ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo and Marcus Rashford.
The trio of Ronaldo, Rashford and De Gea are the nominees for the Manchester United Player Of The Month award for October, which was announced on Monday.
Ronaldo scored two important goals for the Red Devils in the previous month, including the winning goal against Atalanta in the Champions League. He also scored the opening goal with a volley against Tottenham Hotspur in last weekend’s impressive Premier League win in North London.

Rushford only recently returned from injury but has been phenomenal for United. Moreover, in the last month, He has scored one goal against Atalanta and another against Tottenham.
Manchester United’s defence has been quite sloppy and conceded some easy goals in the previous month. But De Gea proved himself to be one of the best shot-stoppers in world football. The Spanish veteran thankfully looks to be back to his best.
Bruno praised the goalkeeper’s recent performances and also suggested that he would vote for the Spaniard in the Player of the Month award. The Portuguese player thinks that he has done enough in the last month to receive the accolade.
“For what he has done in the last month and has been doing since the start of the season, I think he deserves it. But obviously, we know the power of people who score goals, so, if I would vote, I would vote for David this time.”

The Portuguese midfielder believes without his services, Manchester United would have conceded many more. That certainly appears to be the case given our disorganization in midfield and defence.
“If it wasn’t for David, we would have conceded many more.”
Fernandes admits that it is not an easy decision to make given the key goals that Ronaldo continues to score. The Portuguese sensation has popped up at key moments for United, scoring goals of much gravitas.
