Napoli ace Lorenzo Insigne makes his stance clear on Premier League move amidst Manchester United links
According to Gazzetta Dello Sport via Sport Witness (h/t The Express), Napoli star Lorenzo Insigne is open to a move to the Premier League amidst interest from Manchester United.
The 30-year-old has spent all of his career in Naples and has moved through the ranks to become one of the best players at the Italian club currently. In over half a decade, Insigne has made 406 appearances and has scored 111 goals during that period.
Moreover, he has reasonable experience of playing in the Champions League while he also played a crucial role in Italy winning the European Championship earlier this summer.
However, it might be goodbye for the winger next summer as he is in the final year of his contract at the Serie A outfit. Negotiations over a new deal have been in the works, but it seems as though there are some disagreements over a salary package.
The winger is demanding nearly €7million-per-year (£5.94million), whereas Napoli have so far only made an offer in the region of €4.6million-per-year (£3.9million), according to Gazzetta Dello Sport via Sport Witness (h/t The Express).
This would be a huge boost for the Red Devils as they are looking to secure a deal for the Italian and are said to have upped their interest in him ahead of the January transfer window.

While United are yet to make an official step towards signing the player, they could secure an impressive mid-season deal to boost their chances of winning silverware this season.
