Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has called up eight youngsters to training ahead of Leicester City clash
According to The Express, Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has called up as many as eight youngsters to first-team training ahead of their game against Leicester City on Saturday.
The Red Devils have several stars off on international duty and are set to return later this week, once they have completed their round of games. Cristiano Ronaldo and Bruno Fernandes are off with Portugal while Raphael Varane, Anthony Martial, and Paul Pogba have completed their UEFA Nations League duties with France.
Gareth Southgate also has the trio of Luke Shaw, Jadon Sancho, and Jesse Lingard in the England squad, who will be done in the next couple of days.
On top of this, Edinson Cavani, Fred, and Victor Lindelof have also been called up by their respective countries with the former duo a huge doubt for the Leicester clash on the weekend.
Thus, Solskjaer has now taken the decision to call up some youngsters to first-team training. A bunch of the club’s best trainees from the U-18s and U-23s joined the training session on Monday, namely Alvaro Fernandez, Bjorn Hardley, Dillon Hoogewerf, Joe Hugill, Marc Jurado, Charlie McNeill, Charlie Savage, and Charlie Wellens.
This bunch trained with the likes of Dean Henderson, Alex Telles, Phil Jones, Tom Heaton, Donny van de Beek, Juan Mata, Nemanja Matic, and Marcus Rashford as the rest were out serving their country on the international stage.

While there is no certainty that any of these youngsters will feature against the Foxes on Saturday, it would be no surprise if a couple of them are included in the squad to make the trip to King Power.
Regardless, giving the youth a chance is always the right way to go and perhaps one of these youngsters can break into the first team this season.
