Transfer News: Inter Milan not financially sound enough to sign Manchester United ace Donny van de Beek
According to the latest transfer news from L’Interista (h/t Sports Mole), Inter Milan might not be able to make a move for Manchester United star Donny van de Beek due to a lack of funds.
The 24-year-old was linked with the Serie A giants recently over a potential January move for the midfielder, which would see the fringe star join the San Siro outfit on a loan move with an option to make it permanent, as per Calciomercato (h/t ESPN).
However, it does not seem like this deal will be possible anymore as it is believed that Milan no longer have adequate funds to sanction a move for the Dutch international.
It is understood that there is an interest in the former Ajax man, but lack of finances may lead to this move failing, according to L’Interista (h/t Sports Mole).
Van de Beek has suffered for game-time at the Manchester-based club and has so far failed to start a single Premier League game for the Red Devils this season.
Given the fact that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer also has the likes of Paul Pogba, Bruno Fernandes, Scott McTominay, Fred, and Nemanja Matic in their ranks, it has been hard to provide the Dutchman with a string of games.

Additionally, a move to Everton was also believed to be on the cards for the 24-year-old during the summer transfer window. However, it was blocked off by Solskjaer as he aimed to keep the midfielder at Old Trafford.
While Inter do not have the finances, a lot could change in the space of a few months but it remains to be seen whether the Red Devils would be interested in letting go of Van de Beek.
