Manchester United in contract talks with Bruno Fernandes since July
According to transfer expert and reputed journalist Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United are in talks with Bruno Fernandes as they look to tie him down to a new contract.
Fernandes is an essential part of this Manchester United team. The Portuguese has started this Premier League season in fine fashion by scoring 4 goals in 4 games.
It is believed that positive discussions are underway. Manchester United want him to sign a new deal by the end of the year. Bruno’s contract is being considered a priority along with that of fellow superstar Paul Pogba.
The attacking midfielder’s impact at Old Trafford ever since his arrival from Sporting Lisbon has been amazing. He played a key role in the club’s progress. He has dished out unbelievable stats ever since joining the Red Devils. The former Sporting Lisbon player has scored 30 goals and assisted 19 times in 55 Premier League appearances.
The Portuguese midfielder’s current contract runs on till 2025 but the club are keen on discussing a new deal to ward of interest from any other club.
Prior to the shock defeat to Young Boys, Manchester United had been enjoying a great run of form this season. They sit on top of the Premier League table after four games, following a 4-1 win over Newcastle United, during which Bruno Fernandes scored a screamer.
