Fred reveals how Cristiano Ronaldo is already transforming Manchester United
According to the United Daily (h/t Manchester Evening News), Fred believes that Cristiano Ronaldo is already having a massive impact on the Manchester United dressing room.
Ronaldo made his emotional homecoming to Old Trafford as the United faithful cheered him on for his second stint at the club. The 36-year-old left Turin to return to Old Trafford for a €15million deal with €8million in add-ons.
In an interview with United Daily (h/t Manchester Evening News), Fred said:
“We know who Cristiano Ronaldo is because he likes to win, he pushes everyone, so you need to be at your best to get with him.”
The Portuguese international could make his second debut with the club against Newcastle United on the weekend. The Red Devils have not won a trophy for 4 years now and the former Real Madrid player’s experience will be a big bonus to the club.
Fred further added in his interview:
“It’s so good for us because he pushes everyone, we can win every game, so it’s so important.”
Cristiano has already scored more than 100 goals in all competition for the Red Devils in his first stint at the club. He has also made a promise to the fans that he meant business and would try everything humanly possible to get them some trophies
The Portuguese superstar said
“I am not here for a vacation. As I told you, before was good, winning important things and I wore the shirt before many years ago, but I am here to win again.”
