Transfer News: Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer provides huge hint on the club’s transfer plans
According to a tweet put out by Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano (h/t 101 Great goals), Ole Gunnar Solskjaer does not feel that Manchester United are going to make any more additions to the club during the summer transfer window.
The Red Devils, who have already spent a combined fee of over £100million on securing deals for Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund and Raphael Varane from Real Madrid, might not open up their wallets again.
The Old Trafford outfit have been linked with a move for several midfielders, namely, Declan Rice, Saul Niguez, Ruben Neves, Aurelien Tchouameni, and several others. Additionally, the club are also in the race to sign Kieran Trippier from Atletico Madrid.
However, it does not look like any of those plans are going to go through anymore. According to a tweet put out by journalist Fabrizio Romano (h/t 101 great goals), Solskjaer talked to Norwegian journalists about the club’s transfer plans, saying:
“I don’t think much is going to happen. If something happens, it is a bonus. You never know what happens in the world of football. But we’ve had a very good window. I am happy with what we’ve done”.
Although the Norwegian boss has not completely ruled any more additions to the squad, it would come as a blow to most fans of the Red Devils, as they were linked with some incredible names.

United have had a mixed start to the season as they won their season opener against Leeds United but failed to get the winner against Southampton resulting in a draw.
