Amad Diallo loan move to Championship club not certain yet as Manchester United mull over decision
According to journalist Jonathan Shrager (h/t Insidefutbol), Manchester United have not made a concrete decision regarding where Amad Diallo will play his football this season.
The 19-year-old completed a big-money move to Old Trafford from Atalanta last season in a deal worth £37.2million. The winger also went to make 8 first-team appearances, including 3 appearances in the Premier League. However, Diallo’s moment came when he scored the first goal in the first leg of the Round of 16 of the Europa League against AC Milan.
The player has been considered as one of the most talented youngsters around, but the 19-year-old is certain on a loan move this summer. United, who already had the likes of Mason Greenwood, Marcus Rashford, Edinson Cavani, Daniel James, and Anthony Martial in their squad, added more quality to it by signing long-term target Jadon Sancho.
Sancho, like Diallo, plays on the right-wing, courtesy of which, the Ivorian could fall down the pecking order at the club and suffer for game-time eventually.
While Sheffield United are keen on a move for the 19-year-old winger, there have also been clubs from the Bundesliga, Ligue 1, Serie A, and the Premier League eager to snap up the player on a loan deal.
However, it is understood that the Red Devils and Diallo’s representatives are taking a look at the possibilities so as to provide the youngster with the best opportunity.

If the winger is to leave on loan, he would want consistent game-time, and it would bode well for United as well if the starlet is provided with first-team football regularly.
Thus, while a decision has not been taken yet, it looks like it could be taken soon as the transfer window is going to shut down in less than two weeks.
