Could Paul Pogba leave Manchester United for Juventus?

Paul Pogba could leave Manchester United by the end of the month

According to L’Equipe (h/t Four Four Two), Paris Saint Germain could still make a last-minute move to sign Paul Pogba from Manchester United this summer.

The French superstar, who has entered into the final year of his contract, is on the precipice of leaving the club on a free transfer next summer while a move could also be done this month if there is an agreement over a transfer fee.

Pogba was close to joining PSG earlier this summer, however, the French club preferred signing Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi instead as the player was available on a free transfer.

Pogba has an uncertain future at United

While they did sign Messi, the Parisians were also aware that Pogba would be available on a free transfer next year, and they can eliminate the possibility of paying a transfer fee altogether. The French outfit were also understood to be willing to offering the 28-year-old a salary worth £510,000 per week.

This stance, however, has changed recently, as Mauricio Pochettino apparently wants to bring in midfield reinforcements before the end of the month. The French club have two targets in mind, namely Paul Pogba and Eduardo Camavinga of Rennes.

Although PSG have not made an offer to the Old Trafford outfit just yet, it does not seem like the Red Devils would be willing to let go of the player before the end of the month.

Paul Pogba divides opinion like no other Manchester United player.
Pogba could still leave United this summer

Pogba displayed his importance to United on Sunday when he delivered four assists in the club’s 5-1 victory over Leeds United and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer would not want to lose such an integral part of his team with only two weeks left until the end of the transfer window.

While it also bodes well for Pogba to join the French capital next summer as it would enable him to earn a higher salary, it remains to be seen where the 28-year-old will play his football beyond this month.
