Injury News: Van de Beek and Martial return to Manchester United training
According to injury news from MEN, Donny van de Beek and Anthony Martial have returned to training for Manchester United. The duo has resumed training after their recovery from injury. However, they are currently being monitored closely and will only link up with the squad next week.
Anthony Martial endured one of his worst ever seasons in a red shirt last season as he failed to find his scoring boots. An injury in March ended his season prematurely, thereby ruling him out for the Euros squad for France. Edinson Cavani also usurped his place in the side at United with a string of solid performances.
Donny van de Beek struggled to get going through the season, not by his fault though. He was hardly afforded a run of games to make a mark. Ahead of the Euros, Van de Beek pulled out of the Netherlands squad with a groin injury.
Both players have recovered from their respective injuries and are training at Carrington by themselves (h/t MEN). They are under the observation of medical and fitness staff. Over the next week, they will link up with the rest of the squad, meaning that they will miss the friendly against QPR on Saturday.

It will definitely be a boost for Solskjaer that two more of his senior options are set to return to action. The earliest they are likely to play is against Brentford next week. A good preseason should help them in getting some momentum ahead of the new season.
