David De Gea unhappy over Manchester United decision on Dean Henderson
According to Mirror, David De Gea was left unhappy after Manchester United rejected a loan offer for Dean Henderson. While De Gea made a U-turn on his future, the decision to not loan out Henderson to Wolves seems to have left a sour taste in his mouth.
There are not a lot of superlatives left to describe David De Gea’s time at Manchester United. The big Spaniard has time and again saved United from precarious positions with his spectacular saves. However, for the first time in a decade, his position has come under threat.
If one were to be honest, De Gea has become error-prone in recent seasons. His lapses have cost United dearly. Over the last season, Dean Henderson took the mantle of the No.1 and safe to say he made enough of an impression to keep his place in the side for the league games.
De Gea not happy with United’s intention to keep Henderson
De Gea was preferred to start the Europa League final but his missed spot-kick handed the title to Villarreal. That is said to have hit De Gea hard as he contemplated leaving the club. Later, he discussed his future with Solskjaer and pulled off a U-turn to stay and fight for his place.
It has been revealed that Dean Henderson was the subject of a loan offer from Wolves. However, United rejected the offer which seems to have not gone down well with De Gea. Wolves ultimately went on to sign Jose Sa.

It’s perhaps not a good sign that De Gea does not want competition for his position. Henderson has fought for his spot in the side and it would be harsh to offload him. While no keeper wants to be the second choice, De Gea might want his performances to do the talking.
