Manchester United could use Sancho to lure this Borussia Dortmund duo next season

Manchester United could use Sancho to lure Haaland and Bellingham next season

According to transfer news from Express, Manchester United could use Jadon Sancho to sign Erling Haaland and Jude Bellingham next season. Sancho’s imminent signing for United could be used by the club next season in a bid to land two of his Borussia Dortmund mates.

Manchester United are close to wrapping up a deal for Sancho. A deal was agreed in principle and his medical and other formalities are also done. Only an official announcement from the club is pending, which could be done very soon as well.

However, another benefit to this deal for Sancho will be that United can now go after two more Dortmund players. Erling Haaland needs no introduction at this point after making a roaring start to his career. Jude Bellingham is another name that has flourished at the German club at such a young age.

Sancho could be the key to Haaland and Bellingham

United have kept an interest in both players even before they joined Dortmund. Now with Sancho at the club, they could try to use his connection to sign both of those players (h/t Express). The winger shares a good rapport with Haaland and Bellingham. The latter even spoke about joining Dortmund because of Sancho.

It does not look as if Dortmund would allow any more of their star players to depart this summer. However, if they move next season, Sancho could hold the key for United in landing either or both the players.
