Manchester United keeping tabs on Polish wonderkid Kacper Kozlowski
According to Italian publication Gazzetta Dello Sport (h/t Sport Witness), Manchester United have entered the race for Polish starlet Kacper Kozlowski.
The 17-year-old, who currently plays for Pogon Szczecin in Poland, made history in the European Championship match against Spain. By coming off the bench for Mateusz Klich, Kozlowski became the youngest player to ever feature in the competition.
The youngster broke the record held by Jude Bellingham, who held the dinstinction for a mere six days. The Englishman initially broke the record in the 1-0 win over Croatia earlier this month.
One of the best young talents to come out of the country in recent years, Kuzlowski’s high potential has garnered the interest of a number of clubs. United too have now thrown their name into the mix.
According to the report, the teams in the fray include Cagliari, Juventus and Barcelona. However, it would appear that the initiative is currently held by Borussia Dortmund.
The Germans have a track record of discovering Polish talents. The likes of Robert Lewandowski, Lukasz Piszczek and Jakub Blaszczykowski all became household names during their time at the Westfalenstadion. Whether Kozlowski will join those ranks remains to be seen.
A central midfielder who is competent in an attacking role, Kozlowski has so far made 24 appearances for Szczecin, scoring one goal and assisting three more. He has also won four caps for the Polish senior side. (h/t Transfermarkt)

Having missed out on Jude Bellingham last summer, United could very well land themselves a similar player in Kuzlowski. Whether we can act fast to secure him or lose out to Borussia Dortmund once again remains to be seen.
