Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants to strengthen four positions at Manchester United
According to transfer news from Express, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants to bolster four positions at Manchester United. The club are planning on signing a couple of new players to bolster their squad to challenge for the big trophies next season.
The Norwegian is picking up the pieces after what was ultimately a disappointing end to the season for United. With the campaign now over, the focus shifts to the summer transfer window. It is no secret that the Red Devils need to bring in reinforcements.
The main areas are being looked at that might see new players arriving. Firstly, there is the centre-back position where United need to bring in a worthy partner for Harry Maguire. Raphael Varane is a name that is doing the rounds.
A striker is also needed as the club are trying for Cristiano Ronaldo. In the midfield, they are looking at players like Declan Rice and Jack Grealish. Lastly, they want a right-winger and Sancho has been linked.
However, one position that is perhaps not seen as a priority is right-back. Kieran Trippier has been looked at by the club but United will only go after him if they can get those four positions strengthened first.
