Manchester United Transfer News: Ole Gunnar Solskjaer prioritizes the signing of Jadon Sancho over Jack Grealish
According to The Telegraph (Subscription Required), Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen to sign Jadon Sancho, only for his players remaining keen to see him bring in Jack Grealish instead.
The Red Devils go into the summer after a promising season that saw them finish second in the Premier League. With the Europa League final yet to come, the season could yet end with a trophy.
Grealish and Sancho have both enjoyed brilliant seasons for Aston Villa and Borussia Dortmund respectively. United have been long-term admirers of the English duo and was heavily linked with them last summer.
A number of United stars are sold by Grealish’s performances at Villa Park and want the club to land him this summer. A move would set the Red Devils back by £75m and has also attracted attention from arch-rivals Manchester City.
The player, however, has a long-term contract at Villa Park, handing the midlands club an advantage when it comes to negotiations. Speaking earlier this month, the player’s agent, Jonathan Barnett ruled out United having an advantage in the race to land his client.
Maybe that is not something we will need to worry about if Solskjaer has his way. The Norwegian is keen for the club to focus on landing Sancho after missing out on him last summer.
Move fast!
There is little doubt that either player would improve our squad going into next season.
Whichever
player the club decides to pursue, it would be prudent for them to do so before the Euros. A solid showing in the competition will only see their values shoot up.More Manchester United News

According to the report by The Metro, United could land both players for a combined price of £150m. With a centre-back also on the agenda, the club will need to splash some serious cash if they are keen on addressing their deficiencies.
Given the financial condition, it remains to be seen if we are capable of doing that.
