Ole Gunnar Solskjaer warns Manchester City of Paul Pogba next season
According to Express, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has warned Manchester City about Paul Pogba for next season. The United manager feels that Pogba can be an unstoppable asset as the club aim to challenge Man City for the Premier League next season.
A player once disillusioned with the direction United were taking, Pogba appears to have renewed faith in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s leadership. The Red Devils are second in the Premier League and could go all the way in this season’s Europa League.
Pogba looks a whole different player in recent months and his contributions have been vital as well. The midfielder looks liberated in a new role and clearly, his absence was felt during February when United lost ground in the title race.
Without him, Fernandes gets overburdened with creative responsibilities and teams tried to nullify him.
However, Solskjaer has sent a warning to City that a fully fit and firing Pogba will be unstoppable next season.
“We want him fit and running. With his qualities, when he’s fit he’s unstoppable. We create an environment here where players want to come and work every day. The coaches have done that, we want players to enjoy it.”
Adding to that, he spoke about how they want to challenge City for the title next season.
“That’s the challenge for us, to have that consistency now that we’ve moved up the table and that we also challenge Manchester City.”
