Solskjaer not concerned regarding behind the scenes access at Manchester United for Paul Pogba documentary
According to The Guardian, Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed that the upcoming Paul Pogba documentary will not serve as an unnecessary distraction.
Set to be produced by Amazon Prime, ‘The Pogmentary’ will take an intimate look at the player both on and off the field. As we have seen in the past with ‘All or Nothing’, these documentaries tend to have backroom footage that make for incredible viewing.
Solskjaer is nonplussed with granting the shooting crew being granted access to behind the scene moments. Being in the spotlight is nothing new for Pogba and Solskjaer does not believe the documentary will lead to him downing his tools.
“Paul has been in the spotlight ever since he started at Man United, so I don’t see a problem with it.”
The United boss believes his French superstar knows how to strike the right balance between on and off-field issues. He has no doubt that the 28-year-old is keen to get the most out of his career as a top-level footballer.
“Paul’s main focus is to get as much out of his career as possible. He wants to be the best player he can be and he wants to win as many trophies as possible.”
Pogba is amongst the high profile footballers who has a sizeable presence on social media. The Frenchman is an icon whose words and actions can have a far-reaching impact.
“I know his personality. He is so lively. He gets energy from making people happy.”
A contrast in styles!
Solskjaer has little to worry from any behind the curtain revelations. Pogba shares a cordial relationship with the Norwegian, unlike his predecessor Jose Mourinho.
The former United manager and Pogba were both involved in several distasteful moments that culminated with the latter being stripped of his vice-captaincy and chastised in training.
As seen in All or Nothing: Tottenham Hotspur, Mourinho has a flair for the dramatic and is not short of controversy wherever he is. It will make for great viewing if Pogba reveals any so far unknown information regarding their standoff.

A United man through and through, Solskjaer will have little to worry about regarding any potential pitfalls. If anything it should enhance his reputation more.
After all the contrast in life at the club under him and Mourinho will be clear for all to see. The Norwegian has not just managed to outdo the Portuguese in creating a proper atmosphere but also managed to get the best out of Pogba.
