Aaron Wan-Bissaka praises Bruno Fernandes for impressing in Manchester United training
Speaking to MUTV (h/t The Metro), Manchester United star Aaron Wan-Bissaka has revealed Bruno Fernandes for being so unpredictable in training.
The Portuguese international has been a revelation since his arrival at United last year. He has since been our most important player, often leading us to key victories single-handedly.
One key trait Fernandes has added to the United attack is unpredictability. His ability to conjure something out of nothing has given us a different dimension.
It would appear that he is no different in training as well. Wan-Bissaka has revealed that Fernandes often does the unthinkable in training to get the better of him.
“In training, if I’m against him, I’ll think he’s going for an obvious pass, say over my right shoulder, but then he’ll play it somewhere else in another way. He’s so unpredictable.”
While Wan-Bissaka has been successful in his own right and is our first-choice right-back, he does have a major flaw. His lack of imagination while going forward is something that he needs to address to evolve into a modern-day full-back.
Key additions!
It will surprise few that if there was one trait he could borrow from Fernandes, it would be his vision.
“If I could add any attribute from any team-mate to my game, I’d have to pick Bruno’s vision.”
Having experienced what it is like to score, the Englishman is keen to have more impact at the right end. With newfound belief and a teammate who can potentially teach him, Wan-Bissaka will add more weapons to his arsenal.
“If I had to choose between a goal-saving tackle and scoring a goal, I’d go for a goal.”

Wan-Bissaka is also keen to win trophies at United and is looking forward to years of experiencing it. With the Red Devils close to making the semi-finals of the Europa League, he might do that come next month.
