Juventus ready for departures to bring in Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba
A report by Italian outlet Calciomercato (h/t ESPN) mentions that Juventus are looking to offload Adrien Rabiot and Aaron Ramsey in order to make room for Manchester United star Paul Pogba.
The French midfielder spent four very successful years in Turin before he made his return to Old Trafford in the summer of 2016. But major trophies are yet to arrive for Pogba at United.
And Juventus now want to bring the 28-year-old midfielder back to Turin as Andrea Pirlo assesses his options to add to Juve’s midfield. Another transfer target, in this regard, is Sassuolo’s Manuel Locatelli.
But to make room for any incomings, Juventus would want to offload men in the middle of the park. Ramsey and Rabiot are the two names being mentioned, possibly due to their approximate €7million-a-year salary.
An Italian re-union
What would worry United in this aspect is that the Old Lady might not have trouble finding suitors for the duo. Rabiot is valued by the Italian side but they wouldn’t down a high offer for him, with Barcelona and Manchester City both interested.
As for the Welsh midfielder, a return to the Premier League looks likely as West Ham United and Crystal Palace are both interested in him. But it would be in United’s best interest to hold on to Pogba. (h/t ESPN)
Losing one the best midfielders in the world will undoubtedly leave a void in the club’s midfield. And the current crop of United midfielders might not be enough to make up for his absence.

The fans would hope to see the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner at Old Trafford for as long as possible, but if a move to Juventus does take place, the club should make sure they receive adequate financial compensation.
