Marcus Rashford ranked as the most valuable player in the world by CIES
According to CIES (h/t Daily Mail), Manchester United star Marcus Rashford is the most valuable footballer in the world. However, sharing the same title with Rashford, Erling Haaland is also of the same value.
Rashford’s reported value is said to be worth 14.8% of Manchester United’s total squad value. That is indeed a very promising number for Rashford given the club boast of expensive recruits like Paul Pogba, Bruno Fernandes and Marry Maguire.
Below the two forwards are the likes of Kylian Mbappe, Joao Felix, Phil Foden and Bukayo Saka. A host of promising young players are a part of this list. However, there is only one player per club, meaning that the likes for Fernandes are not a part of this.
Various other players such as Trent Alexander-Arnold, Harry Kane, Timo Werner, Frenkie De Jong, Alphonso Davies, etc. are all a part of the list in the subsequent lower brackets. More Premier League stars such as Pedro Neto, Jack Grealish and Youri Tielemans make up the list.
